Polar Cloud for Snapmaker 3D Printers
The Snapmaker U1 runs Klipper, so it connects to Polar Cloud through our open-source polar-cloud-klipper plugin. Older Snapmaker 3-in-1 machines can connect through OctoPrint.
Connect Your Snapmaker Printer
Before you start, have your Polar Cloud Username (the email you sign in with) and PIN handy. Both are in Account Settings.
Snapmaker U1 (Klipper plugin)
Depending on your firmware, installing the plugin may require SSH access to the printer. The guide walks through it.
- Install the polar-cloud-klipper plugin on the printer, following the guide.
- Open the /polar-cloud/ page in the printer’s local web dashboard to check the connection status.
- Once connected, your U1 appears in your Polar Cloud dashboard.
