FAQ
- What is spiral vase mode?
- Spiral (or "vase") mode prints the model as a single continuous wall, climbing in one unbroken spiral. It’s fast, uses very little filament, and leaves no seam, which makes it ideal for decorative vases.
- Can I make a planter that drains?
- Yes. Planter options add a drainage hole and a matching drip tray, plus hanging loops or a pedestal or tripod stand. Planter settings are included with a Polar Cloud subscription.
- Is it free?
- Yes. Design as much as you like in your browser, no account needed. When you’re happy with it, sign in with a free Polar Cloud account to save the model to your library, slice it, and send it to your printer. A few advanced settings come with a Polar Cloud subscription.
- Will it actually print?
- Each generator builds the model for 3D printing and shows tips for printing it. Once it’s in your library you can slice it in the browser, or let Polar Print pick the settings for you.
