Polar Cloud for Creality 3D Printers
The Creality K1 family runs Klipper, so it connects to Polar Cloud through our open-source polar-cloud-klipper plugin. Older Creality printers, like the CR-10 and Ender lines, connect through OctoPrint. Either way, they join the same dashboard as the rest of your fleet.
Connect Your Creality Printer
Before you start, have your Polar Cloud Username (the email you sign in with) and PIN handy. Both are in Account Settings.
K1, K1C & K1 Max (Klipper plugin)
Installing the plugin requires root access to the printer. The video walks through the whole process.
- Enable root access on the printer, following the guide.
- Install the polar-cloud-klipper plugin on the printer.
- Open the /polar-cloud/ page in the printer’s local web dashboard to check the connection status.
- Once connected, your K1 appears in your Polar Cloud dashboard.
Older Creality printers (OctoPrint plugin)
For CR-10, Ender, and other Creality printers running OctoPrint.
- Install the Polar Cloud plugin from the OctoPrint plugin repository.
- Enter your Username and PIN in the plugin settings and turn the connection on.
