Spring 2026: New Homepage, New Features!

We'll keep this one short — but some updates deserve a proper announcement.
A fresh face for the Polar Cloud
Our team spent the winter refreshing the Polar Cloud brochure site — the experience new visitors get before they log in. The platform itself received a major overhaul last year, and it felt like time to make sure the front door matched what's inside.
This matters more than it might seem. Polar Cloud has a real network effect: the more educators, students, and makers who find and use the platform, the better it gets for everyone. We don't run ads, so if you've gotten value from Polar Cloud, sharing it with a colleague or posting about it genuinely helps. Word of mouth is how we grow — and growth is how we fund new features and new manufacturer partnerships.
Image to 3D — our biggest feature in years
Once you're a Polar Cloud user, you don't care much about the marketing site. So we made sure the update came with something real.
Upload 1–4 photos of any object, and Polar Cloud converts it into a print-ready STL — available for immediate download or slicing. It's a meaningful step forward for accessible 3D modeling, and we think you'll find it genuinely useful.
Full details are in the help article, and here's a video walkthrough if you want to see it in action. New free accounts receive credits just for completing setup tasks like connecting a printer and starting a print — so you can try it without committing to anything.

Updated pricing
To support these additions, we've restructured our pricing tiers. Education and enterprise now have more tailored options, and individual plans have been upgraded with optional AI features and a raised object file size limit — 300MB, up from 125MB.
More to come! Thanks for being part of the cloud.
