Which printers does the Bridge support?

The Polar3D Bridge connects Bambu Lab, Prusa, and Elegoo Centauri Carbon / Centauri Carbon 2 printers to Polar Cloud. It communicates with them over MQTT and other local connection options on your network.

What can I run it on?

Mac, Windows, or Linux — any computer on the same network as your printers, including small always-on machines like a lab server or mini PC.

How is this different from the Bambu Lab Agent?

The Agent is Windows-only and purpose-built for Bambu Lab using the official Bambu SDK. The Bridge trades that specialization for flexibility: it runs on any major OS and also supports Prusa and Elegoo Centauri Carbon printers. If you run a Bambu-only fleet from a Windows PC, use the Agent; otherwise, the Bridge is for you.

Can I watch my printer's camera live?

Yes. When you open a printer in Polar Cloud from the same network as the Bridge, the camera streams live to your browser straight from the Bridge. Browsers block plain-HTTP video on secure pages, so this was not possible before. When you are away from that network, Polar Cloud shows cloud snapshots instead.

Does it cost anything?

No — the Bridge is free to download and use with your Polar Cloud account.

When browsers started blocking plain-HTTP video on secure pages, the live look into a printer on your own network went with it. Polar Cloud could only show you snapshots.

The Bridge brings the live feed back. Open a printer in Polar Cloud from the same network as the Bridge, and the camera streams straight to your browser — in real time, with the queue and controls right beside it. Away from the lab, you still get cloud snapshots.
